The rear three quarters looks great. As does the interior.

Despite the haters, I never had a problem with this car. Of course, I didn't own one ....

Too much Ford-y nonsense. The interior build quality wasn't so great though from what I heard.

The X-Type is awesome! Best Jag ever made.

Plus, you could even get a wagon with a manual, even over here in the US!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah that's right, a manual wagon with a hood ornament and luxury and prestige over here!

I'd estimate the single digits. Shit, there were only about 1400 X-type wagons total sold over here/\.

This is the only early-2000's sedan that still looks modern today, especially the interior.

Just compare this:

I completely agree the interior is wonderful on this car.

This combo was always my go to when I was at a dealership just browsing...or in there for the "prize" i had "won"...usually a gift card or movie tickets..from a mailer. (odds of winning 49997:50000)

"Let me get that prize right away for you but in the meantime are you looking for a new car right now?"

"I am, but you don't have it."

"What is it?"

"Jaguar X-type wagon with manual in Green"

"oh, no we don't have that...anyway, here is your prize, have a nice day!"

While it is quite rare, an E46 with the Black Anthracite trim and Navi still looks incredibly modern, in person (with all black interior, of course).

That's a very good car to mention. You're a genius.

it used to be a 95-97 land cruiser with the locking differential options...then i bought one...guess its back to the jag for me? my alternate (if I'm at a japanese dealer) is an is300 5 speed with the lsd. good luck car salesman! (bonus: if they find one, I would probably buy it)

That is the only fault with your plan if they had one of these unicorns it would be almost impossible to pass up the opportunity to buy one.
